Kisah uang Rp 1000 dan Rp 100.000: Uang Rp 1000 dan Rp 100.000 sama-sama terbuat dari kertas, sama-sama dicetak dan diedarkan oleh dan dari Bank Indonesia... pada saat bersamaan mereka keluar dan berpisah dari Bank dan beredar dimasyarakat.

Empat bulan kemudian mereka bertemu lagi secara tdk sengaja di dalam dompet seorang pemuda. Kemudian diantara kedua uang tsb terjadilah percakapan yg Rp 100.000 bertanya kepada yang Rp 1000; "Kenapa badan kami begitu lusuk, kotor dan bau amis...?" dijawablah olehnya" karena aku begitu keluar dari Bank langsung ditangan orang-orang bawahan dari tukang becak, tukang sayur, penjual ikan dan ditangan pengemis"

Lalu Rp.1000.bertanya balik pada Rp 100.000; "Kenapa kamu kelihatan begitu baru, rapi dan masih bersih?" dijawabnya; "Karena begitu aku keluar dari Bank, langsung disambut perempuan cantik dan beredarnyapun di restauran mahal, di mall dan juga hotel-hotel berbintang serta keberadaanku selalu di jaga dan jarang keluar dari dompet"

lalu Rp 1000 bertanya lagi; "Pernahkah engkau mampir di tempat ibadah? "Dijawablah... "Belum pernah". Rp 1000 pun berkata lagi; "Ketahuilah walaupun keadaanku seperti ini adanya, setiap Jum'at /minggu aku selalu mampir di MESJID,GEREJA,KLENTENG,VIHARA dan ditangan anak-anak yatim, bahkan aku selalu bersyukur kepada Tuhan. Aku tidak dipandang manusia bukan sebuah nilai tapi yang dipandang adalah sebuah manfaat...

"Akhirnya menangislah uang Rp 100.000 karena merasa besar, hebat, tinggi tapi tdk begitu bermanfaat selama ini. jadi....Bukan seberapa besar penghasilan Anda, tapi seberapa bermanfaat penghasilan Anda itu.karena kekayaan bukanlah untuk kesombongan. Semoga kita termasuk golongan orang-orang yang selalu mensyukuri nikmat dan memberi manfaat untuk semesta alam serta dijauhkan dari sifat sombong....
